How To Choose The Best MLM Company For You.
This article is sure to generate a lot of discussion, after all, who doesn’t have the best MLM Company? Just so I can avoid the flaming comments on my blog and in my email let me say this. If you are satisfied with your current company, stay with them. You have already found the best MLM Company for you.
Quite often those of us in MLM feel the need to change companies, or the company changes to a non-MLM model or they go out of business.
After the first company or two that you have been involved with you probably feel as though you ought to spend a bit of time investigating the company and its products before you pour your time and effort into it. This is a wise approach, in my opinion. After all, why not get with a company you like right away, instead of being talked into it by a relative?
Let me share a few of the things that I look for and you can mix and match to fit your needs or situation.
First, I have to like the products. That is not negotiable as I have to feel comfortable offering quality products to people.
Second, the management and my upline must be people I enjoy being around. I am looking for a long-term commitment so I want only the best.
Third, if it is a product-oriented company the products must be consumable such as juice or a diet plan, skin or health treatments or similar. If it is not a product-oriented company the standards for the management just got stricter!
Pay plans are another area for heated discussion. For product companies, I personally like something along the lines of a forced matrix. This generally gives newbies a head start on getting nice commission checks. It is a lot easier to keep your downline motivated if they are getting decent checks. Those $6.27 checks don’t cut it.
If we are discussing one of the direct sales companies which pay huge money up front with little or no residual, I will leave that up to you. I have seen people get some pretty big checks from those type of sales activities. Who needs a residual check from someone if they give you $1,000 up front? That is hard to argue with.
I don’t get too hung up on the pay plan if I like the company and the product. I have never maxed out a pay plan and doubt I ever will, so I won’t lose sleep over it.
Don’t feel bad about taking a little extra time to find the right company for you.
