Somebody who has had a heart attack can’t afford to wait for nine minutes for the oxygen to move around in their vital organs. They need help within mere seconds.
The sooner that somebody begins chest compressions on the victim, the greater the victim’s chances of making a full recovery. Their chances are even greater if you have access to and know how to use an automated defibrillator. This can make a very large difference in somebody’s life. You can return some children’s mother or father to them rather than making them orphans. You might even be able to save a child’s life. This would undoubtedly give you one of the greatest feelings of accomplished that you will ever feel in your life.
