In answer to question 2 - there are a number of answers. People don’t know what options are available to them and end up choosing one which is not suitable or one which sadly turns out to be a scam - do your research! People are under the impression it’s easy and money will flow with very little work - it doesn’t happen like that! People fail to give their flexible home based business some ‘Job Status’ - you treat it like a hobby and wonder why you earn hobby money. Give it some job status and treat it like a proper business.

But here are the 2 biggest reasons why people fail - firstly they don’t have a big enough WHY!! Ask yourself, what are your reasons for wanting to work from home and start your own business? Is that reason powerful enough to drive you on when all sorts of obstacles and pressures are put in your way? Wanting a better car or bigger home are rarely reason enough on their own - your Ford Fiesta will always get you from A to B just as well as the Aston Martin DB9, your cosy ground floor flat is lovely really, you don’t need that condo by the beach, etc. You need an emotional goal - to provide for your family, to create a secure future for your children, to help others to improve their lives, for example, goals that are in line with your core values and beliefs. There is nothing more rewarding than creating happiness in other peoples’ lives.

The other main reason why people fail is that they don’t have the right mindset and attitude to succeed and lack the knowledge and education they need. Jim Rohn said, “You need to work harder on yourself than you do on your business.” Always remember, YOU are your business, if you’re not right in terms of health and mindset then your business won’t be either. There are many thousands of books, audio and DVD materials out there to not only help you improve in these areas but also to teach you the many skills of running your own business. You need to make sure you are learning from the right people though - the 6 & 7 figure earners who are already walking the talk and in turn want to help you to succeed. Become part of a community of like-minded people, a family who will share their successes and provide the help and support you need. You do not want to feel isolated, you want to feel you are part of a team even though your team members may be scattered around the world.
