Chuck is i believe, beyond any doubt, the funniest along with the overall most entertaining American TV series to the air in 2008.

I do however not believe it is amongst the most “universal” to what target audience it’s ideally suited to. While not having any demographic numbers or survey results to refer to, I honestly believe it’s a greater appeal to be able to men than to women, although I do find out both female and male fans for the series.

Chuck is basically an interesting and hilarious blend associated with comedy and action. Very easy imitate other series, and does not have a boring and stereotypical concept for you to feel that you’ve seen dozens of times before. It’s a legitimate breath of fresh air inside the ever-growing jungle of TELEVISION series, of which few are worth chilling watching - in my humble opinion.

The main character, Chuck, is some sort of geeky, modest, conscientious and somewhat shy individual who is suddenly faced along with many challenges in his daily life, trying to keep together the various areas of his life as well. His field of encounter is fixing computers. Viewers who are passionate about technology can be especially likely to “get” the humor with this show.

The very most brilliant achievement from this series is the unique chemistry involving the characters. No one require themselves too serious, the actors deliver superb performance and consistence in every episode, and the characters’ spontaneous reactions will often be enough to cause excellent laughter. The only “serious” character I’m able to think of (that’s rarely funny - definitely by intention) is normally Chuck’s sister - Ellie. She contributes greatly for the “balance” mentioned below, and is due to that an important character.

Furhermore that series’ perfect balance involving gripping action scenes, risibility and self-irony is reasonably remarkable. It’s both pleasurable, fun and thrilling as well! I hope Chuck will still be such a success for a long time and that the creators pursue to develop the concept in order that it does not “grow old” fast.
