Osbaston, England ( News-wire ) August 23, 2024 - The 2011/12 Dutch Eredivisie has started and Amsterdam giants Ajax are favourites to win the division for the second season running.
Eighteen teams once again battle it out in the Dutch top flight and there is sure to be a battle for the title, European places and survival. The reigning champions are Ajax and they kicked off the campaign with a 4-1 rout of De Graafschap on August 7.
