Financial security is one of our primary aims. Though, money cannot buy happiness but it affects how we live and interact people who can give us real happiness. When we look around, we can see that wealth in a nation or state is not evenly distributed. Some people are richer than others. However, earning a meager income is never the endpoint of everything. With the right planning, attitude and motivation, you can achieve financial security and financial freedom.

Times have changed and wealth is not at all defined with your roots. There were mighty business tycoons who testified to have come from rags but are now enjoying the benefits of their riches. Education has also been made accessible to almost anybody and with great intelligence and skills; you can climb your way up the ladder of success.

What you have right now can actually be your starting point to achieve financial freedom. You don’t need your clan’s previous wealth or a high educational standard to make you reach. It is just a matter of careful financial management.

First of all, you should examine your money-spending habits and check where the greater part of your budget is spent. Lots of people would end up confused at the end of the month as to where their money goes and, upon listing their expenses, would end up shocked to know that they spend more on their wants than their needs.

To clarify these things, we need to literally list down all our expenses, our sources of income, home savings plan, kid’s education, a dream phone, dress, your vacation and other things that matter to you. Sometimes, we need to re-examine what is on our priority list and check whether we really need these things. We might need the money for more important and urgent matters thus leaving other things at the end part of the list. This list is very important and should be executed in any financial transaction you engage in. There may be lapses in your budget but you should also foresee and make a separate budget for them.

The plan is just the first part. The most important part is on keeping the right attitude that will lead you to financial freedom. First, you have to be fearless, bold and optimistic that there is a way out from your current financial crisis. This optimism should be the product from self-discovery and the use of positive attitude to get what you want. Financial freedom is not all about planning and calculations but the responsibility to allocate the right amount to the person you love and make them happy. In due time, you will be happier seeing the fruits of your efforts and letting your loved ones experience them, too.
