Many people are turning to skin tag removal at home methods for a variety of reasons. If you have skin tags and you just don’t want to have to deal with, either because it is irritating or you feel embarrassed by it, this will be a good option for you.
Skin tags are simple tumors; they are benign meaning that they are not dangerous. They are typically an inherited trait from one of your parents. There are two different kinds, one kind of looks like a mushroom while one simply juts out from the skin on a stalk and can have a bit of a tear shape to it. They normally form around the eyes, in the crook of the elbow, around the knees and on the torso. They are relatively painless, but you may wind up fielding quite a few questions about them.
You can go to the doctor’s office to have them removed but that can get expensive rather quickly especially when removal at home can cost you nothing.

Skin tag removal at home is virtually painless; it is quick, efficient and easy. There are several tried and true methods to getting rid of your tag at home. Skin tag removal at home and the method that you choose is largely going to depend on the area that the tag is located.
A good option to get rid of a tag on the knee or elbow or even torso area is to simply paint it with vinegar, apple cider vinegar works best. You simply saturate a cotton ball with the vinegar and soak the skin tag with it, cover with a band aid and repeat each day for about two weeks, at which point the tag will fall off. Of course this is not an option if the tag is near the eye. If you do not have vinegar in the cupboard than you can try some baking soda mixed with castor oil. No baking soda or castor oil, try nail polish or vitamin E. Vitamin E can be used around the eyes. By Mary Thompson
